Here you live in a cozy cottage located in an old genuine mill environment from the 1800s only 15 minutes from the sea. The house is located right next to the old mill pond and close to a small lake.
On the ground floor of the house you will find a cozy bedroom with a double bed, 180 cm, and a large nice bathroom with both shower and toilet. From the entrance level you also have access to a covered secluded patio with a view over the pond. Here you can sit and relax during the day. The upper floor has a living room furnished with a sofa group, TV and a wood burning stove as well as a dining area overlooking the pond. Around the corner you will find the kitchen. The two bedrooms have comfortable 140 cm beds.
You live in a scenic historical environment close to the lake Kvarngölen, where you will find a rowing boat that is shared with SE05049 and SE05050. The old mill building has now been converted into a little power station and in a separate part you have access to both a sauna with relaxation area and a washing machine. These are also shared with SE05049 and SE05050.
Things to see and do in the local area
Oskarshamn town centre with shops and restaurants is a 15-minute drive away. The holiday home is also within a reasonable distance (72 km) for day trips to Vimmerby with the theme park Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby adventure park with high rope course. The beautiful summer town of Västervik, which has been named Sweden's best summer city in 2020 and 2021, is only 48 km away. There are plenty of nice restaurants, shops and events in the summer. If you feel like a day trip, the ferry to Idö and Hasselö departs from the harbour. You can also take the opportunity to visit Småland's Kingdom of Crystal with its many art glass cabins and above all Kosta Glassworks with its shopping mall and famous design hotel.
