Positive: My stay at Luxe Haven Homestay was exceptional. Marvin and Tracy were excellent hosts and made sure I was well taken care of throughout my stay. Any deficiencies and requirements were swiftly taken care of. The common area of the apartment (shared by two bedrooms) is spacious with a comfortable living area and a separate well equipped kitchen cum dining area. The bedroom albeit a little small was very well kept and had all the essential amenities. The bathrooms especially were nicely done up and kept squeaky clean. The entire apartment was very well maintained and kept clean throughout the stay. The property caretaker is on site round the clock and is very polite and helpful. The property is very safe and is located right in the heart of Laitumkrah amidst a whole bunch of popular Cafés and restaurants, and is a short distance away from all the attractions within the city. The property also has a rooftop terrace that offers a stunning view of the sunrise and sunset over the beautiful city of Shillong and its mountainous landscape. Special thanks to Marvin and Tracy for being such friendly, welcoming hosts.

Negative: Something to keep in mind is the property doesn't have an elevator. You'll have to use the staircase to go up and down. I personally had absolutely no issue with this as the stairwell is wide and well lit. However it might not be suitable for disabled and aged people. But if you're fit and don't mind climbing stairs, rest assured you won't find a better property than this.

Summary: Excellent property and location. Clean, safe, well equipped. Marvin & Tracy are outstanding hosts.
