This annex is located on Getterön just outside Varberg. A newly produced guest house on the owner's plot, surrounded by the peninsula's unique nature. Here there is the large bird reserve, bathing beaches for both rock bathing and sandy beach. From the small harbor, the Getterö boats enter Varberg's harbor next to the fortress. A perfect accommodation for the small family or a couple who want both nature and cultural experiences. The annex is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with an open kitchen and living room with a sofa bed for two people and smart TV without channels. The bathroom is fully tiled with a shower and a combined washing machine with drying function. A good staircase leads up to a lovely sleeping loft with a double bed. From here you have a view of the bay. There is free wifi in the cabin. Around the house there is a spacious wooden deck beautifully furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Next to the balcony is a trampoline that the children can use. From the cottage, which is the last house on the road, a path leads down to the sea. Here, cows sometimes graze peacefully on the green grass. A short distance from the beach there is a small mooring. Here you can take a morning swim. There are several small bathing coves near the cabin, the closest is cove no.1 next to the marina. Here there is both a sandy beach and a rock pool, an outdoor gym and a restaurant. Nearby there is also a grocery store open during the summer. Naturum on the edge of the Getterön nature reserve is Varberg's second most visited tourist destination after Varberg's fortress. Naturum has exhibitions and a cafe. Here the children learn everything about bird life in a playful way. Varberg is a popular destination with the medieval castle Varbergs Fästning as an important landmark. Many appreciate Varberg for its cozy little streets with good shopping. Fun little shops and market stalls. Åkulla's beautiful beech forests have 50 km2 of hiking trails, several nature reserves and many lakes. About 13 kilometers from Varberg is Grimeton Radio Station, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here there are tall radio masts that proudly look out over the landscape. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Varbergs Gk.
