Summary: The Balmoral Hotel is a bit dated but clean. In my room the AC didn't initially work but two quick visits from staff and that was remedied. The bathroom is VERY TINY and the shower/tub requires a big step up to get in and out. The Balmoral is right on the beach and has lots of restaurants nearby which is convenient. There are vendors who set up at the beach too. Note the sockets are different than in other parts of South Africa. I didn't have the correct adapter here when I did in Cape Town and Sodwana Bay.
