Summary: The room we were allocated looked nothing like the picture on the web page. We got a single sized room with a double divan bed crammed inside up against a wall. No headboard so the pillows kept disappearing during the night. There was just about enough room to walk around the bed. We were told we had a garden view. There was no garden just a trellis covered in ivy. Beyond that was a building covered in scaffolding with men working at various times so very noisy and we had to keep the door closed. The so called bar was dark, dull and uninviting. Hardly any lights on, no soft music playing, not even any bar staff. Looked like an abandoned room. Teabags must be scarce as when we asked for some we were given one teabag even though there were two of us. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping was very good. So all in all unfortunately we would not rebook this hotel nor recommend it.
