Positive: I had a very comfortable stay at Hampi Palace. The accommodation met my expectations and was accurately represented in the photos. The building is relatively new, the furniture is in great condition, and the room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was well equipped and had reliable hot running water, which was appreciated. The property is located just outside the main Hampi centre—around an 8-minute drive from the major sites. It’s in a very quiet area, making it ideal for a peaceful night’s rest. I didn’t notice any noise from other guests, and the balcony views were beautiful. There are also a few local restaurants and tea stalls within a short walking distance. The owner/manager, Raj, was exceptionally friendly, proactive, and helpful. We were offered an early check-in from 9am since the previous guests had checked out early, and even earlier arrival was accommodated by allowing us to freshen up in another room. Raj also gave us useful suggestions on places to visit and helped arrange an auto driver for a full-day sightseeing trip, which turned out to be a great experience with a knowledgeable local driver. Overall, I’d happily recommend Hampi Palace to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and functional base to explore the south side of Hampi.
